About Us

Riverfrog Publishing is a British company passionate about creating inclusive and diverse children's books and resources that celebrate every kind of reader. We believe all children deserve to see themselves in the stories they read, and we work tirelessly to expand our collection with more exciting titles and learning materials in the pipeline.

We also offer, identity cards, a practical tool used by practitioners to explore identity with children and young people. These cards help open up meaningful conversations about who we are, where we come from, and how we connect with others, making them a valuable resource for schools, libraries, and voluntary organisations.

At the heart of Riverfrog Publishing is Rebecca Darko, a Zimbabwe-born British author. Rebecca and her team work with schools, libraries, and internationally with a range of schools and voluntary organisations, sharing inclusive stories and resources that inspire young minds and encourage exploration of identity and diversity. Her background and experiences shape the welcoming, representative books and materials that Riverfrog Publishing is proud to share with children and young people.
